It's that time again. These are the entries for Contest 3 - Theme STIMULUS where everyone made a wallpaper based on music... okay... so there are multiple entries from many members, but the people that entered certainly were very inspired, now weren't they?

Same drill as always, even if someone else is telling you to do it.

The theme for contest 4 is

The squishy face has returned after yet another fortnight of flashy colours and new wallpaper entries ^_^

The theme was APPROPRIATION. Members had 3 scans, and choose one (though we have a double entry by Teryon). The wallpaper must match the theme sentence there is no darkness where there is light so here they are ^_^

Once again the drill is simple ^_^
In the group guestbook, simply write down your preferences:

^_^ Don’t worry, the previous entries are still up there on the page for you to compare and match a wishy washy decision on who has improved the most.

For curiosity, the next theme is STIMULUS
Members look at this: and must produce a wallpaper relevant to that, but submit it into a category with less than 100 gallery items (hopefully not all the entries are for beck! *eeks*)

I (Misa) will no longer be the one coming around to your guestbooks notifying you of the entries and the details, because I am leaving MT to concentrate on my studies (damn Uni entrance exams). How now my wonderful judge? ^_^ As you may remember from the gbook entry below that you have volunteered to judge ^_^

Round one is now over for the UnderAppreciated Group Competition ^_^ We have collected 7 entries... (considering there aren't many members to begin with...) and as you may have already known, the theme was ORIGINAL

That meant that members could not use any professional coloured scans or scans of manga covers or manga scans coloured in by manga groups. The only coloured things members were allowed to use were stock photos or doujinshi that they or the drawer had coloured in.

Here are the entries; there is a page on the group page (well a link) which is the same as here which has the judging criteria, but it will be repeated here for the sake of you going there xp

Judging criteria:

1. Technicality/ balance of overall composition
2. Colour combination
3. Originality/ artistic expression (message being carried out)
4. Overall feel/ reception of audience
5. Relevance to the theme/ theme sentence

Judging rules:

1. Number of layers is not taken into account for judging
2. Amount of time taken to make it is not considered
3. Member's level number, reputation or experience not taken into account
4. Number of favourites, comments, downloads and views of entry not taken into account
5. Accuracy of the application of PS filters not taken in account to prevent members from using utorials
6. Effort is considerable

In case if you are curious about the new theme which starts today, it is APPROPRIATION
Members have been given 3 rather random and unpopular scans in popular categories and are asked to wall them according to this theme sentence:

ps: The competition is now an ongoing fortnightly cycle, because I realised some judges were waiting for the entries to come in fornightly would mean more judging more frequently... so it wouldn't disappoint judges or members who finished early ^_^
